Making Room for New Friends

By: Bev Ruso, Children's Ministry Coordinator

It’s almost been a full year since we began meeting as the180 family and I have had the privilege of watching our children's ministry start to grow and welcome new families.

So much has changed in only a short year and it's exciting.  I love watching children connect, build friendships, and grow in their understanding of God's love for them.

Because of the exciting changes and growth we are now in need of a larger space for our kids. We believe in the importance of families and children at the180 and so we have some big plans for them! We are moving upstairs in the warehouse where we will have more space decorated just for them and also a spot for our youth to hang out.

Over the past few weeks we have seen many people step up to help us paint, plan and prepare for a change in our Kids Zone at the180. We can’t say thank you enough to all who have come out to help us create a new and fun space for our kids and the new friends we’ll meet as a church family.

However, we still need your help. We would like to create a craft supply closet for our teachers to be able to use and also provide some other items that we need to furnish/supply our upstairs area. Here is a list to download of items that we need.

Take a look and if you are able to donate anything, we would appreciate your help!

You can drop off any items to donate at the current Kids Desk on Sundays. There are no limits to the amount of each item. For larger items, or with questions, please contact Bev (Children's Ministry Coordinator) through theoneeightychurch@gmail.com.
