After You Believe

The idea of “discipleship” is essential for Christians to grow in our faith. But while “discipleship” is a popular word today, it is often reduced to a sort of buzzword that is often misunderstood, oversimplified or disconnected from its deep biblical meaning and the life of the Church. Because of this, for many it’s hard to know how to get a handle on this idea of discipleship or where to begin as a disciple of Jesus.

The word discipleship comes from the Greek word, mathētēs, and it simply means to be a “learner”. But to be a disciple of Jesus means far more than just learning information. It means not just believing in Jesus but following Him in a radical way that changes and transforms you to become more like Him.

In our digital age filled with new distractions, shifting values and instant access to everything just a click away, the call to be a disciple of Jesus offers a deeper kind of formation that cuts through the noise of success, instant gratification and artificial connection.

We hope you join us as we explore what it means to grow as disciple to Jesus, after

you believe.
