Life Shared
Embracing the Gift of One Another
The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. The ability we have today to read the Bible on our own is such a gift – but in a culture so shaped by individualism, it’s easy to forget that the Bible was written to real church families, working out how to follow Jesus together, with all the mess, complexity and beauty that community brings.
This summer, we’ll explore many of the places in the New Testament where the phrase “one another” is used. This phrase is used over 80 times in the Bible, and it calls us to a kind of community marked by love, forgiveness, encouragement, and hospitality towards one another.
This series is meant to reclaim the gift of how the Holy Spirit is uniquely at work in the community of faith. In a generation shaped by relational fragmentation and one that continues to confuse online connection for real Christ-Centered communion, it is a gift to revisit the biblical theme of “one another”, to see how these phrases come alive for us and sharpen our understanding of our need for one another today.
We hope that you can join us as we explore this important theme together.
