FAQs
Why is Pastor Dom taking a sabbatical?
For those who serve in ministry, a sabbatical is not simply time off but a way of honouring the biblical rhythm of work and rest that God has woven into human life. A sabbatical creates space for renewal so that leaders can return to their work with greater clarity, dependence on God, and joy in their calling.
After planting The 180 nearly ten years ago and faithfully serving as Lead Pastor through this decade of growth, the Board of Elders believes this is a wise and healthy time for Pastor Dom to have this time of rest. We are grateful to have strong leaders in place who will continue to guide and care for the church while he is away.
What will Pastor Dom be doing during the sabbatical?
There is no formal schedule, but Pastor Dom will likely pursue a combination of prayer and reflection, reading and study, and time with family.
Will Pastor Dom be available during this time?
No, Pastor Dom will not carry any regular ministry responsibilities during this period.
Who will be leading the church while Pastor Dom is away?
