Community partnerships
Generosity is turning into tangible care for some of the most vulnerable in our city. These deepening partnerships allowed us to respond to real needs with dignity and consistency.
We built stronger partnerships with 8 local organizations, including women’s shelters and schools to offer consistent and practical care: Groupe d’Entraide La Rosée, TRIL, Maison de Lina, Maison Le Prélude, Chez Doris, Maison du Père, Batshaw Family & Youth Centre and Héma Québec
$4000 was raised at the Women’s Thrift Sale and provided Maison De Lina with 20 comforters & 20 sheet sets; 15 pharmacy gift cards; diapers, wipes, baby items; cleaning and hygiene supplies
1,500 pairs of sneakers were given to TRIL and shelters
15 winter coats distributed to women at Maison de Lina
130 gifts were collected for foster kids at Batshaw Family & Youth Centre
500 boxes of cookies were packaged to deliver to our partners
20 backpacks were filled with supplies for shelter children
