Why the Cross? | Week 3: When God's Mercy Meets our Mess - Dom Ruso

We can never appreciate the sacrifice of the cross if we don't get honest about why it was so necessary. This week we will consider how God's mercy meets us in our mess. Just like today, this was not easy for people to understand. Pastor Dom will take us through a secret meeting between Jesus and a religious leader who senses that Jesus' teaching may be revealing things about God's love, His mercy and His healing that all point to the cross.

Why the Cross? | Week 1: How we Tamed a Scandal - Dom Ruso

For years, Christians have sensed the need to move toward Easter with a special focus on the deeper meaning of the cross. This is often referred to as Lent. As a church we are starting a new series called 'Why the Cross?' to help us revisit how the Bible calls us into a deeper trust in God through suffering, solitude and surrender. Listen in as Pastor Dom launches this series.
